It started where you think... Obviously.

Hey, I'm Charlie and a few years ago, I was on a first date.

Things were going pretty well. We were walking through a park and stopped at a lookout over a pond. It was outside. It was breezy. I figured I was safe to let one go.

I was not.

At that exact moment, my date walked behind me to get a better look at the view.

Let's just say she got more than she bargained for.

I knew pretty quickly there probably wasn't going to be a second date.

But there was a silver lining.

I went home and Googled “fart-proof underwear.”

Turns out, it existed.

So naturally, I bought a pair.

And…it was pretty mediocre.

So I went down a second rabbit hole.

Then I called my cousin Cara, an award-winning fashion designer who had spent years designing at Lululemon, and asked her if she thought she could make something better.

Her answer:

“F*** yes. That sounds amazing”

And down the rabbit hole we went.

Nearly two years of design, prototypes, fabric experiments and a truly unreasonable amount of smelly testing later, we created Outfox.

Flatulence-neutralizing underwear designed to actually work — while looking and feeling like your favourite pair of premium undies.

Because we don't think solving an embarrassing problem should mean wearing embarrassing underwear.

We're here to make the world's best flatulence-proof underwear. Period.

That means obsessing over how it fits, how it feels, how it looks and, most importantly, whether it can keep certain things between you and your underwear.

We're building products people genuinely love wearing. We're not interested in slapping a filter into a mediocre pair of underwear and making a quick buck.
