HOW OUTFOX WORKS

Turns out, there's more to stopping a fart than sticking some carbon in your underwear.

Outfox was developed over almost two years with former Lululemon designers to solve three problems at once:

Capture the smell, Get the gas to the filter, Make underwear you actually want to wear.

1. CAPTURE THE STINK

The smell in flatulence comes from tiny amounts of odour-causing gases.

Outfox uses a high-performance activated carbon filter designed to capture those compounds as they pass through it.

Activated carbon has an enormous internal surface area that traps odour molecules through a process called adsorption.

In simpler terms: gas goes in. The stink doesn't come out.

2. GET THE GAS WHERE IT NEEDS TO GO

Here's the catch: even the best filter doesn't do much if the gas goes around it.

That's why we didn't just sew a piece of carbon into a pair of underwear and call it a day.

The shape, positioning, coverage and fit of Outfox are designed around how gas actually escapes the body—helping channel it through the filtration area while limiting opportunities for it to sneak around the sides.

The filter is only half the technology. The underwear itself is part of the filtration system.

3. DON'T MAKE WEIRD UNDERWEAR

This turned out to be the hard part.

A giant filter might work wonderfully, but nobody wants to walk around wearing a diaper.

So we spent almost two years working with experienced performance-apparel designers, including former Lululemon designers, to balance filtration, coverage, movement, breathability and comfort.

The result is fart-filtering underwear designed to look and feel like your favourite pair of premium undies.
